Verdugo Hills Pool Groundbreaking

I'm thrilled to announce the long anticipated Verdugo Hills Pool Groundbreaking! This is a project that the community has been promised for decades. When I took office, I was successful in closing the budget gaps for the project, and then COVID-19 took over. I’m proud to say that I’ve secured $9.4M that allowed me to bring much needed improvements to a pool that is heavily utilized by the community. The pool and bathhouse will be completely redone with new ADA-compliant upgrades, remodel of the locker rooms, addition of a gender neutral bathroom, reconstruction of the pool deck to add new plumbing and lighting, and replacement of pool equipment.
