Proposed Al Fresco Ordinance at City Planning Commission on

Los Angeles City Planning is pleased to announce the revised proposed Al Fresco Ordinance which will be considered at the upcoming City Planning Commission (CPC) meeting on Thursday, April 27, 2023. The CPC meeting follows the Public Hearing held on February 8, 2023. The Staff Recommendation Report to the CPC is now available for the public and discusses the changes made to the proposed Ordinance in response to public comment and feedback.

Please note that the City Planning Commission hearing will be conducted in-person at Van Nuys City Hall, with an option to participate virtually and will allow for remote public comment. The agenda for this meeting is also available at planning4la.org/about/commissions-boards-hearings and includes instructions for submitting comments directly to the CPC. Please include Planning Case No. CPC-2022-8179-CA with your comment.

The CPC meeting is an opportunity for stakeholders and the general public to continue to share feedback with Commissioners on the proposed Al Fresco Ordinance. We invite you to attend the CPC meeting on April 27 and participate in the public process.
