Tree Watering, Tree Fertilizing, Tree Mulching Day - June 11 @ DIY

Our trees need help! Climate change, drought, no regular watering by the City of L.A., and years of being encased in blocks of impermeable pavement is taking its toll on our trees along the Boulevard. What can you do? Join our group of community members led by the Crescenta Valley Group of the Sierra Club and the Sunland-Tujunga Neighborhood Council’s Safe Traffic & Transportation Committee. We will be providing mulch, fertilizer and water to as many trees as we can, based on the # of our volunteers who show up to sustain our trees that are struggling along Foothill Boulevard. Please bring work gloves, a watering can or two 5-gallon buckets and join us.
